About my interests

I have lived and worked in London since the 1970s.  I am passionate about conservation and the natural world.  I contribute to the RSPB annual bird survey and national wildflower count and have been involved in campaigns to stop the use of harmful chemicals in the environment.  I started beekeeping in 2012 and have a website: amandahayes.weebly.com which gives more information about bees, honey, candles and cosmetics and gardening for wildlife.
